Flotilla 8-8 covers the area of Clinton Lake and Clinton, Springfield and Mattoon area. Welcome And thanks for visiting the Lincoln Heritage Coast Guard Auxiliary web site. We are the civilian volunteer uniformed arm that helps and supports our local US Coast Guard Service based in the upper Mississippi River area. The Coast Guard Auxiliary provides boating safety classes, on the water training, vessel exams and search and rescue services to the public. Please visit the national website.
